Player wins $10,000 on Ohio Lottery scratch off in Belmont County

A lottery player is $10,000 richer after playing the Ohio Lottery’s 50th Anniversary scratch-off.

The winner purchased their ticket at Riesbeck’s, located at 104 Plaza Dr in Saint Clairsville.

After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28 percent, the winner will take home approximately $7,200.

The name of the individual was not released.

50th Anniversary is a $50 scratch-off that has a top prize of $600,000 a year for 25 years. As of October 17, there are two top prizes remaining in the game.
