Get ready to stroll through one of Ohio’s best-kept secrets and take a tour of 13 century-old Victorian cottages.

Historic Epworth Park in Bethesda, Ohio is planning to host its first fall event, Autumn at Epworth-A Walk in the Park on Saturday, October 19th, from 1:00-5:00 pm.

Epworth Park, established in 1870 initially as a Methodist campground and later designated as a National Chautauqua Movement site in the early 1900s, is comprised of 60 Victorian cottages over 7 acres of land.

In its heyday, over 10,000 people would flock to Epworth every weekend during the summer months via train and horse-drawn wagons for fellowship, to hear nationally renowned speakers, and to enjoy cultural arts such as music and plays.

Visitors will be able to see the interiors of Victorian cottages constructed in the late 1890’s to early 1900’s. Some cottages are a snapshot in time & others transformed to live in today’s lifestyle.

In addition to the tours, visitors can also purchase Grab & Go Ohio Valley favorites to take home for dinner or to enjoy while watching the game. For sale will be the Original Frizzi Pepperoni Rolls from Bellaire, Bean soup and lentil soup prepared by the Soup Shack chef from Centre Market, homemade smoked pulled pork sandwiches with broccoli slaw from Cottage BBQ, the original Bob Evans Texas Chili, Sons of Italy meatballs, desserts and more

The cost is $15 per person or $25 for two. Children under the age of 16 are free with an adult ticket purchase.

For more information or to purchase tickets online by clicking here. Tickets will also be available at the concession stand at Epworth Park on the day of the event.
