Two people in Ohio die from overdoses due to potential bad batch of illicit drugs in the community
The Jefferson County General Health District (JCGHD) said they received reports of the fatal overdoses in downtown Steubenville. Both overdoses occurred in Jefferson Metropolitan Housing Authority units: one each in the South End and North End. Toxicology reports are not available at this time.
Supreme Court rules ex-presidents have some immunity, sends Trump case back to lower court
In a historic 6-3 ruling, the justices said for the first time that former presidents have absolute immunity from prosecution for their official acts and no immunity for unofficial acts. But rather than do it themselves, the justices ordered lower courts to figure out precisely how to apply the decision to Trump’s case.
Milestone reached on Wheeling Streetscape; Project now slated to be completed Fall 2025
A major milestone in the project to beautify the downtown Wheeling streets has been reached. Paving is taking place as part of the highly anticipated Wheeling Streetscape, which will impact Main Street and Market Street between 10th Street and 16th Street.
