Mothers enjoy brunch at local winery

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Mother’s Day was off to a great start for some local mothers thanks to brunch at WaterTower Estates Winery.

The spread was catered by Federal Coffee and Fine Foods, which included breakfast foods and unlimited refreshments for the family. The holiday feeling was in the air in the barn area, as the event was largely organized my mothers themselves. Part-owner Tiffany Woodward says she wanted to make it a special day with special items.

“We’ve also got mimosas,” she said. “My husband Tyler does all of our wine, and so he made a bubbly specially for today. We are just taking time to hang out and celebrate the moms in our lives.”

The second year of the event showed so much promise that Woodward says they hope to host two days next year.
