Ludacris coming to The Mill in Terre Haute this fall

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — It’s not a fantasy, this Grammy award winning artist may have concert goers telling others to ‘get out the way’ on first street when he arrives at The Mill this fall.

Ludacris, known for a series of chart topping hit singles and his acting appearances in films such as the Fast and the Furious franchise, is coming to Terre Haute. With songs like “Money Maker,” “How Low,” and “Get Back”, the rapper has been a part of five Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit singles during his lengthy career and 56 charting singles.

The Champaign Illinois native made his name out of Atlanta representing the dirty south style of hip hop.

Ludacris rose to prominence in the early 2000s with his debut album “Back for the First Time.” His infectious energy, razor-sharp lyricism, and dynamic stage presence quickly made him a household name. With hit singles like “Southern Hospitality,” “Stand Up,” and “Money Maker,” Ludacris solidified his status as a rap icon.

The concert is in partnership with Indiana State University and will be held on Saturday, September 7.

Tickets for the show go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. to the general public. The Mill’s E-mail subscribers will get a special pre-sale Wednesday at 10 a.m.

Cost for tickets are $35 for general admission with seats allowed, $65 for VIP with seats allowed, and $125 for VIP Standing Pit.

ISU Students can get their tickets for $20 with an added fee of $2.35 when a student ID is shown at the door.
