Camp Navigate celebrates 8th year for summer camp

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Thursday evening Camp Navigate hosted its summer kickoff meeting.

Camp Navigate is a summer camp for children ranging between kindergarten and eighth grade.
This is the eighth year for Camp Navigate and this year’s theme is “No Fail Summer”. The children will get to go on filed trips, swimming, and make crafts.

Executive Director Eleanor Ramseier said it’s going to be a busy summer.

“We’re teaching the kids this summer that you will make mistakes in life. That there will be issues and to persevere, to have grit, and to push through those mistakes. So, we’re excited about this year’s theme and how to teach those kids it’s okay to be you,” she said.

Camp Navigate still has 20 spots available for this year. Enrollment is on their website .
