Ivy Tech and Saturn Petcare team up for apprenticeship program

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)—Ivy Tech and Saturn Petcare came together for an apprenticeship signing ceremony Tuesday.

The ceremony celebrated three employees becoming part of a program, that will allow them to earn their associate’s degree tuition-free. They will get a combination of hands-on and classroom experience while working full-time.

“Our job is to provide quality students right for our workforce and it is such an important partnership to have because Saturn Petcare is such a big deal here in Terre Haute and we want to provide the best type of students that we can to allow for them to be successful and earn high-paying jobs,” said Molly Joseph Assistant Dean of Advance Manufacturing and Engineering and Applied Science

The partnership is part of the “Achieve Your Degree” program that Ivy Tech uses to provide access to higher education through partnerships with employers across the state.
