    Farm accident in Parke County leads to Lifeline

    CARBON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— A farm accident left an elderly farmer with a Lifeline trip to an Indianapolis hospital.

    On Tuesday at 12:58 p.m. Bellmore Fire Department, Parke County EMS and Parke County Deputies responded to a tractor incident. The responders showed up to 5741 South 1000 East to find an 85-year-old man in need of help. The 85-year-old was attempting to pull a tree with his tractor when it overturned.

    The man received a hip injury and was flown via Lifeline to a hospital in Indianapolis for his injuries.
