    Garage engulfed in fire Wednesday evening

    TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Two fire departments responded to a fire Wednesday evening in southwest Terre Haute.

    According to a press release from Prarieton Fire Department Deputy Chief Scott Dean, Wednesday at 5:48 p.m. Prarieton Fire Department and two units from Honey Creek Fire Department were dispatched along with a Trans Care ambulance for a fire at 3306 West Lombardi Drive. The units that arrived first were met with an unattached garage completely covered in flame.

    Fire in Prairieton burns down two-car garage

    Crews were able to use handlines and were able to get the fire under control in approximately one hour. No injuries occurred at the scene, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
