Glas-Col gets recognized by Indiana governor

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A local company is among several being recognized by Indiana’s governor for 50+ years of business.

Glas-Col is located in Terre Haute and manufactures products used in chemical research in over 30 different countries.

Indiana State Senator Greg Goode visited the company on Friday to personally present the company with the recognition.

“Just a small way to acknowledge the tremendous impact that this company makes, that spurs the Wabash Valley economy, but then also helping be an integral part of things that are important to the United States of America,” Goode said.

Glas-Col was founded in 1939 and will celebrate 85 years this December.
