Interstate 70 diverted for bridge repairs

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Indiana State Police Sgt. Matt Ames made a post on Facebook about traffic being diverted on Interstate 70.

In a post made on Wednesday, Sgt. Ames posted to Facebook that starting tomorrow Interstate 70 will be diverted near mile marker 9. Mile marker 9 is the 25th Street bridge and traffic will then be diverted to a temporary bridge being set up. This will be the case until repairs on the 25th Street bridge are complete.

Indiana State Police reminds people to be alert and pay attention to speed while work is being done.
