ISU student teacher arrested for child seduction and child exploitation

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— A male student-teacher from ISU was arrested Thursday for child seduction and child exploitation of one of his students.

The Probable Cause Affidavit (PCA) states that Indiana State Police were contacted by the Clay County Department of Child Services about an inappropriate relationship between the student-teacher Tyler Davros (22) and one of his students. The school was notified about the relationship by a friend of Davros.

Davros taught at both Northview High School and North Clay Middle School. The PCA states that the victim had grown close and began to trust Davros and had been contacting him via social media.
