Upcoming road closures in Terre Haute

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Indiana Department of Transportation announced a temporary road closure that will impact Sidenbender Road beginning Monday, September 9th.

Crews will close Sidenbender Road to replace the existing bridges with a new tunnel at this location. Traffic will also be diverted onto a temporary bridge that has been built in the median of I-70 eastbound at this location.

The closure is expected to last until mid-November but is weather permitting and subject to change.
