TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO-WAWV)– On the same day that school threat happened at Otter Creek Middle School, two additional threats were directed at Terre Haute South High School and Terre Haute North High School. The investigation resulted in the arrests of two juveniles.

The following is a news release from the Vigo County School Corporation:

The Terre Haute Police Department and Vigo County School Corporation were made aware of a threat made to Terre Haute South High School near the end of the school day on Wednesday, September 11. An investigation was immediately launched by THPD and Vigo County School Corporation Safety and Security Department. An investigation was completed quickly and a juvenile arrest was made almost immediately by THPD.

Unfortunately, around the same time, a threat was also reported at Terre Haute North High School. Again, THPD and VCSC launched an investigation into the threat, which was made via social media. The investigation quickly identified the source and a juvenile student was arrested.

Law enforcement and VCSC have determined these threats were independent, isolated incidents and not connected to the threat made at Otter Creek.
