Vigo County Sheriff’s Office looking for missing person

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Detectives from the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office are looking for a man missing since April.

In a post from Facebook , The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office said that they are looking for a 35-year-old man by the name of Marcus “Cory” Speaker. Speaker had last spoken to his family in North Carolina this past April, stating his intentions to move closer to them. Speaker stated that he needed money to do so and that he planned to “live off the land” until he could make it back to them.

Speaker is a white male who is approximately five foot nine inches tall and around 160 pounds. If anyone has any information on his whereabouts, the sheriff’s office says to contact Sgt. Ellsworth at 812-462-3226 extension 7304.
