Death under investigation in Terre Haute

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Terre Haute Police confirmed a body was found in the 1500 block of Barbour Avenue.

Sgt. Justin Sears confirmed that the body was found around 7 a.m. on Wednesday near 12 Points. The THPD and the Vigo County Coroner’s Office are conducting an investigation into the cause.

The THPD added that there is no perceived threat to the community. WTWO will be following the story and will update when more information becomes available
