A Gibault Children’s Services employee was arrested after it was revealed she had been having sexual relations with an underage resident, investigators said.

According to a Probable Cause Affidavit (PCA) by the Indiana State Police (ISP), Jami N. Downing, 24, is charged with child seduction, possession of marijuana, and possession of paraphernalia.

The PCA states that a Sergent with ISP received a call from a concerned parent regarding her son being in a possible sexual relationship with Downing. The parent advised that Downing had added the victim on Snapchat and then began receiving nude photos and videos from Downing.

According to the PCA investigators determined that Downing sent the victim multiple lewd videos and pictures. Downing also Facetimed the victim on multiple occasions while naked, the report states. Investigators added that Downing and the victim had multiple sexual encounters while on Gibault’s campus.

During the investigation, authorities searched Downing’s home and located six items of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana.

WTWO has reached out to Gibault Children’s Services for a comment but at that this time they have not responded
