Important dates for Vigo Co. voters

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — With election season right around the corner in Vigo County, there are several things to keep in mind.

The Vigo County Clerk’s Office says that there will be several voting locations used during the 2024 General Election. However, they recommend to those not wanting to wait in line to vote early or request an absentee ballot. Election supervisor Elizabeth Stiverson says that the voter registration deadline is also quickly approaching.

“Voter registration is open,” Stiverson said. “You can register to vote for the upcoming election until October 7th. You can do that in person here at voter registration, which is on the second floor of the courthouse. You can also do that online, and if you go online it is Indianavoters.com and you can register to vote there.”
