TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — This year WTWO was awarded the 2024 Cardinal Community Service Award by the Indiana Broadcasters Association (IBA) for our community service contributions. Each year the award recognizes radio and television stations that have made an impact in their communities.

The IBA honored the station with this award for our annual Tail-A-Thon, partnered with the Terre Haute Humane Society.

    2024 Tail-A-Thon

We are honored to receive the 2024 Cardinal Award from the Indiana Broadcasters Association. This recognition highlights our ongoing commitment to serving our local community, and we couldn’t be prouder. The Terre Haute Humane Society plays a vital role in our community, and for the past 20 years, we’ve been privileged to partner with them in raising thousands of dollars to support their cause. It’s not just about raising funds. We’ve adopted our own station dog, Emmy, from the humane society, and every year we participate in Clear the Shelters, helping connect animals with loving homes across the Wabash Valley.
