After cleaning up at AGT Mr. Richard returns to school

WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — After cleaning house on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, Vigo County Janitor Richard Goodall returns to his duties at West Vigo but not without a celebration.

Anticipating the singing janitor’s arrival, the school corporation planned a welcome back event in the school’s ‘Green Dome’ to celebrate his success.

Watch here live as Goodall returns to the hallways surrounded by his biggest fans, the students of West Vigo.

The short celebration will kick off with a pep rally featuring the West Vigo Middle and High School students, cheerleaders and band followed by a question-and-answer session with Goodall hosted by West Vigo Students.

The event is expected to wrap up with presentations and remarks by Vigo County Commissioner Chris Switzer, VCSC Superintendent Dr. Chris Himsel, and WTWO General Manager Tim Sanders.

In a statement, the school corporation said this has been an exciting time and it looks forward to keeping the message of “Don’t Stop Believin'” going for the entire school year!
