    LIV Golf season in review: Rahm, Ripper GC hold the trophies

    (LIV Golf) – OK, so we know LIV Golf’s top player in 2024 (Legion XIII Captain Jon Rahm) and the top team (Ripper GC). Both have season-long Championship trophies to prove it. But what about some of the other superlatives during the League’s 14-tournament season? Here’s a statistical breakdown of some key categories:

    INDIVIDUAL RESULTS

    Most wins: Jon Rahm, Joaquin Niemann and Brooks Koepka each won twice.

    Most podiums (top 3): Rahm (two wins, one 2nd, three T3s) and Niemann (two wins, two T2s, two T3s) each had six.

    Most top 10s: Rahm with 12. He finished top 10 in each of the 12 tournaments he completed; his only non-top 10 was in Houston when he withdrew during the second round due to injury.

    Most points finishes (top 24): Rahm and Legion XIII teammate Tyrrell Hatton each had 12.

    Most points without a win: Louis Oosthuizen, who finished sixth overall. His best result was a solo second in Adelaide (he also had a T2 in Jeddah).

    TEAM RESULTS

    Most wins: Legion XIII with four (Mayakoba, Miami, Nashville, UK)

    Most podiums (top 3): Crushers GC with seven (three wins, three 2nds, one T3)

    Most points finishes (top 8): Crushers, Torque, Fireballs with 12 each

    Most players inside the Lock Zone: Crushers, Stingers, Torque, Smash with three each

    SCORING

    Lowest stroke average: 67.3, Jon Rahm

    Most birdies (season): 195, Joaquin Niemann.

    Most birdies (tournament): 23, Tyrrell Hatton in Nashville; Jason Kokrak in Greenbrier.

    Most eagles (season): 9, Joaquin Niemann, Matthew Wolff

    Fewest bogeys (tournament):  1, Charl Schwartzel in Adelaide; Lee Westwood in Nashville; Richard Bland and Sergio Garcia in Greenbrier; and Jon Rahm in Chicago

    Lowest round: 12-under 59, Joaquin Niemann in the first round of the season opener in Mayakoba.

    Lowest 54-hole total: 19 under by Nashville winner Tyrrell Hatton and Greenbrier playoff participants Brooks Koepka and Jon Rahm (with Koepka winning the playoff).

    Individual: 17 under, Tyrrell Hatton, Talor Gooch
    Team: 28 under, Torque

    Best on Par 4s
    Individual: 63 under, Jon Rahm

    Most counting score rounds (individual): Tyrrell Hatton was a perfect 40-for-40 this season, as his score counted in every round for Legion XIII. Patrick Reed, Talor Gooch and Richard Bland were next with 38 each. Those totals include the all-scores-count in the 14 final rounds.

    PERFORMANCE

    Longest drive: Dustin Johnson’s 396.7-yard tee shot on hole No. 1 in the first round of Chicago.

    Driving distance leader: Bryson DeChambeau with an average of 323.5 yards. The Crushers GC captain had three of the 10 longest drives this season.

    Top ball speed: Bryson DeChambeau reached 198.16 mph with his tee shot on the 18th hole in the opening round at Jeddah. DeChambeau had eight of the 10 highest-recorded ball speeds.

    Most accurate driver: Of the full-time players, Henrik Stenson hit the most fairways with a 68.21%, edging Abraham Ancer by less than one percentage point. Reserve player John Catlin, who made five starts this season, averaged 71.43%.

    Most accurate irons: Rahm led greens in regulation percentage at 74.62%.

    Top scrambler: Sergio Garcia led in scrambling percentage at 73.1%.

    Top putter: Cameron Smith led in putting average at 1.52 putts per hole.

    STREAKS

    Most consecutive rounds under par: Jon Rahm 19

    Most consecutive rounds in the 60s: 13, Dean Burmester

    Most consecutive holes, par or better: 61, Richard Bland

    Most consecutive holes, birdie or better: 6, Sebastian Munoz (Mayakoba), Abraham Ancer (Jeddah)

    Most consecutive 1-putts: 14, Matt Jones

    Most consecutive holes without a 3-putt: 298, Abraham Ancer
