    Silver Alert for missing Vincennes man has been canceled

    UPDATE: The silver alert has been canceled as of 9:52 October 15.

    VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A statewide Silver Alter has been declared for a 70-year-old-man from Vincennes, Indiana.

    The Vincennes Police Department is currently investigating the disappearance of Gene Dinkins.

    Dinkins is a white male, 6 feet tall, weighing 160 pounds, and has brown hair with blue eyes. Dinkins was last seen on Monday, October 18 at 9:30 a.m., wearing a light blue hoodie with a graphic design and jeans.

    Dinkins is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance. If you have any information on Gene Dinkins, please contact the Vincennes Police Department at 812-882-1630 or call 911.
