    UPDATE 7:50 P.M.

Florida Highway Patrol no longer lists Crawfordville Highway as closed.

It had been closed for severa hours, after three cars and one truck were involved in the crash. Several of the people involved were teenage students who had just left Wakulla County High School.

A sedan driven by a 17 year old rear-ended a car that had slowed for stopped traffic ahead. That car continued across the center line, entering the southbound lane. It then hit the front of an oncoming pickup truck. The bumper of that pickup then hit a fourth car, before rolling over, but landing upright.

The 17 year old driver was in serious condition. His 15 year old passenger was in critical condition. She was flown from the scene to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The 52-year-old woman driving the pickup truck was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
