Keanu Reeves is Back as John Wick
Just when you thought Matrix was a hell of a franchise for Keanu Reeves, he is back for what now seems to be a franchise for John Wick. The action-packed movie is returning for a 4th movie and if you've seen the others, you already know it will have you on edge. The movie is called John Wick: Chapter 4. We've seen Keanu's character trying to live peacefully until his peace was interrupted. We've seen him be exiled and even fight for his life. So what's next, right? Well, John has learned that there is a way for him to get out from under the foot of The High Table and of course he has to deal with more enemies. The movie will hit theaters in March 2023, but for now, check out the trailer.
Black Panther Sequel Tops The Box Office Over the Weekend
We saw this coming. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has topped the box office in its opening weekend. The sequel saw crowds of people, dressed in their best fan-gear and Afro-centric outfits to see the movie. During the opening weekend of Wakanda Forever, the movie $180 million, which was the highest November debut for a movie, ever, according to Deadline. And that is just domestic. Worldwide, the movie came in with $330 million. This movie was definitely an anticipated one, as it paid tribute to Chadwick Boseman, who played Black Panther. Deadline reports Wakanda Forever could hold top box office for a few weeks, saying the movie has "enough gas to hold No. 1 each weekend until 20th Century Studios/Disney’s Avatar: The Way of Water arrives on Dec. 16." Quavo, Offset & Drake Memorialize Takeoff At Heartbreaking Funeral Service
It was a sad day in Hip-Hop as one-third of the Migos was laid to rest in his hometown. On Friday, November 11, Quavo, Offset, Cardi B, Drake, their celebrity friends and hundreds of fans gathered at the State Farm Arena to attend Takeoff’s funeral. After Pastor Jesse Curney III of New Mercies Christian Church delivered the Eulogy, there were touching performances from Justin Bieber, Yolanda Adams, Byron Cage, Chloe Bailey, and the New Mercies Choir. During the beautiful service, Quavious “Quavo” Marshall, Kiari “Offset” Cephus, Pierre “P” Thomas, and Kevin “Coach K” Lee all took turns speaking about the late rapper, who was born Kirsnik Khari Ball.
