A Judge Blocks Drake and 21 Savage's Fake Vogue Cover
While promoting their album, someone came up with the clever idea to have a fake Vogue magazine cover of Drake and 21 Savage. As genius as it was, it also caused trouble for the rappers because Vogue didn't approve of this fake covers and didn't want their name involved. Vogue even issued a lawsuit to Drake and 21 over the fake covers and asked a judge to pull the fake magazines. According to TMZ, Anna Wintour got this one because a judge is forcing Drake and 21 to shut down the album promotions using the fake magazine cover, temporarily. Of course it was a way to promote their album, Her Loss. There's a court hearing scheduled for Nov. 22 on the matter, when both sides can present their cases. Condé Nast, who owns Vogue, also sued for $4 million in damages, but the court hasn't addressed that yet.
Chris Rock and Netflix Have Big Plans and Will Make History
Chris Rock and Netflix are about to do something that has never been done for the streaming service. Netflix has announced Chris will have an upcoming special but there will be a little twist with it. According to CBS News, Netflix announced Chris will make history as the headliner of Netflix's first-ever live, global streaming event. This will actually be Chris' second Netflix stand-up special but it will be the first of its kind. Look for Chris' stand-up special to happen in the beginning of 2023 and this should be a good one for them to stream it live. By the way, this is Netflix's first streaming comedy special, but remember, they also had their live comedy event with "Netflix is a Joke: The Festival" which featured more than 330 comedians in Los Angeles at several venues.
