    Fayette County Humane Society holds April adoption event due to Code Red status

    FAYETTEVILLE, WV (WVNS) — The Fayette County Humane Society will have an adoption special during the month of April due to being in Code Red.

    According to a Facebook post made by the Fayette County Humane Society, an April Adoption Extravaganza will be held due to the shelter being over capacity.

    Fayette County Humane Society takes in abandoned kittens

    The Fayette County Humane Society stated that for the month of April, the adoption fees for dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens is $40.

    People looking to adopt a ‘fur-ever’ friend can go to the Fayette County Humane Society at 513 Shelter Road, Fayetteville, WV 25840, or call the humane society at 304-574-2722.
