    Tree blocks part of a road in Summers County

    SUMMERS COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — A fallen tree blocked one lane on a road in Summers County.

    According to Summers County Dispatch, one lane of Route 3 Greenbrier Drive between Wiggins and Willowwood is blocked because of a tree.

    Summers County Dispatch also stated that the tree was the cause of a large internet, power, and cable outage in the area.

    One lane is open, and Summers County Volunteer Fire Department Station 13, Talcott Volunteer Fire Department Station 51, and Forest Hill Volunteer Fire Department Station 14 are on scene and directing traffic.

    People are advised to use caution when traveling through the area.
