Bluefield State University Graduation

BLUEFIELD (WVNS) – With April ending and May around the corner, many students are preparing to step into their professional career.

Bluefield State University undergraduate and master’s degree students have received their degree.

A graduation ceremony was held on Saturday, April 27th at the Brushfork Armory. Over 200 students have graduated in this year’s class.

Shane Timmons, Undergraduate at BSU, says Bluefield State University was the best choice for him.

“It’s bitter-sweet because I just can’t believe that these four years have gone by so fast. I look back over it and there’s no other place I would’ve gone to college at, cause I’ve just enjoyed the experience here”, said Timmons to 59News.

This commencement marks the first Master’s Program graduates in the history of the school.
