PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) – The Mercer County Fair is back.

The Celebrate Princeton Street Fair returns to Mercer County

This fair takes place at PikeView High School and it offers people a variety of modes of entertainment ranging from rodeos to concerts to even sack races.

The West Virginia High School Rodeo Association will be holding rodeos for each night of the festival at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 2 and 6 p.m. on Saturday, August 3.

Special music will be provided by Chosen Road, Lonesome River Band, and the Jason Lovins Band. Lonesome River Band will perform at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 2. Jason Lovins will perform at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 3, with Chosen Road following up at 7:30 p.m.

The Mercer County Fair President Steven Johnston told 59News why you should come on down to the Mercer County Fair.

“Well, it’s just… it’s good family fun. It’s one of the few outfits you can bring your whole family, from your grandparents to your grandchildren to come and we try to offer something for everybody,” said Johnston

The main events of the fair may be on Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 3 but the exhibits are set up and some are already judged in the PikeView High School gym.
