BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) – If you are looking for homemade items and crafts, look no further. The Appalachian Arts and Crafts Fair is celebrating their 59th year of operation.

The event consists of vendors, food and demonstrations! The two-day fair features artists and crafters from across the Appalachian region.

    The history of Culture Fest

The Fair is organized by the Beckley- Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce. Vendors say it’s always nice to mingle with customers and broadcast their crafts.

“I think it’s important just to see people working, just to see people making their art in public and sharing the knowledge of how that’s done,” said Jamey Biggs, owner of Jamey Biggs Art.

A quilt show and live music were also a part of the festivities.
