Just For Kids Child Advocacy Center received a donation from Ashley Furniture

BECKLEY, WV (WVNS) – Just For Kids Child Advocacy Center in Beckley received a special donation from a world-renowned business.

Ashley Furniture’s Beckley location helped donate a couch, coffee table, and chairs to Just For Kids Wednesday afternoon on August 7, 2024.

The furniture will be used in the brand new trauma informed therapy suite.

This recent donation is part of Ashley Furniture’s “Hope To Dream” Program, which provides children in need with appropriate furniture.

Discussions between both organizations started in July and both were pleased they can provide a safe and healthy environment for the children at the center.

“We want to provide that safe space and what that looks like is something that’s comfortable, something that may be more familiar to them.”

Davis said he hopes a partnership between Just For Kids and Ashley Furniture continues for a long time.
