GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (WVNS) – The Greenbrier Valley and Monroe County Shriners Clubs are set up inside the Grandstand Marketplace at the State Fair for donations to help children. The State Fair is a source of major fundraising for them, as they raise money for the 21 Shriners hospitals throughout the country, which provide care to sick and hurt children. Billy Wickline, a member of the Shriners here in West Virginia has been helping the cause at the State Fair for 30 years.

“It’s a blessing to be able to earn some money for the Shrine and the hospitals – take care of the children that are sent to the hospital with the orthopedic care that need our assistance,” remarks Billy Wickline.

If you would like to help Billy and the other Shriners raise funds to help sick children but can’t make it to the State Fair, you can contact the Beni Kedem Temple up in Charleston to find other ways to donate.
