The public is advised to use alternate routes to avoid the work area, and that unplanned circumstances or weather may influence the road closure schedule.

The West Virginia Division of Highways (WVDOH) apologized for any difficulties that the bridge closure could cause for those in the work zone area. The WVDOH also recommended that members of the public be careful when traveling in the area of the work zone, and to follow all traffic control devices and signs.
