Bluefield University announces opening of new campus store

BLUEFIELD, VA (WVNS) — Apparel for the Bluefield University Rams can now be bought at Bluefield University’s campus.

According to a press release from Bluefield University, the apparel can be bought at the campus store in Shott Hall, as well as online. Those who want to purchase apparel from the store can customize their designs, as the store offers the option to press shirts on-site so that the design and color of the items can be made to the customers specifications.

We are so excited to invite the BU community back into the campus store. I am thankful for University leadership seeing the vision for the space and the value it brings to campus. I am also thankful for the Student Development team who have all had a hand in making this re-launch happen.

The press release stated that the store has t-shirts in sizes up to 3X for $12 per shirt, and for $44 the store has a family pack of four shirts.

According to the press release, those who wish to buy items from the new campus store can find the store in the room beside the student mailboxes, across from the A and B event spaces in Shott Hall, and the store is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The campus store will serve the student body in three ways. First, extended hours will give the campus community more flexibility to check their mail for packages and stop by and purchase whatever they need. The store will also include a lounge area where members of the community can come and hang out. Finally, we are committed to providing quality items at affordable prices. The campus store will offer customizable designs, which will lower our costs and provide new clothing options throughout the year.

Bluefield University merchandise could be found at athletic events and online since the name was changed from Bluefield College in 2021. However, the addition of the store on-campus gives visitors, such as students, easier access to Bluefield University shirts.
