High school football preview: Greenbrier East Spartans

GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (WVNS) – The Spartans of Greenbrier East are looking to make some gains coming off a 2-8 season in 2023.

The Spartans’ two wins came against Ripley and Lincoln County in 2023. They won’t be facing either of those teams in the 2024 season.

Greenbrier East will face Riverside at home to begin their season on August 30th before hosting the Flying Eagles of Woodrow Wilson the following week on September 6th.
