WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS (WVNS) — The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce 88th Annual Meeting & Business Summit, to be held from August 28 to August 30, is expecting over 1,000 people at the three-day event.

The theme for this year’s event, located at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs is “Uniting Business. Igniting Prosperity.” It is viewed as the largest collection of leaders from a variety of areas, including business, industry, finance, politics and education within the Mountain State.

The gubernatorial candidates from West Virginia, The Hon. Patrick Morrisey and The Hon. Steve Williams, will sound off on their individual visions for the state moving forward, building upon a Q&A that can be seen within the newest edition of Chamber Magazine.

The current program of speakers for the event includes the Ambassador of Canada to the United States Kirsten Hillman, United States Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice President Neil Bradley, the Political Editor at NewsNation Chris Stirewalt, to name a few.

A multitude of top West Virginia businesses will be on display at the Business Summit to touch upon their continued contribution to the state. Attendees will have the ability to gain insight into West Virginia topics through “The West Virginia Poll,” a presentation by Rex Repass, President of Research America, Inc.

Governor Justice will also speak at the event, as well Senators Joe Manchin and Shelley Moore Capito, Representative Carol Miller, presidents at West Virginia colleges and institutions, and more.

The 88th Annual Meeting & Business Summit serves as a platform for businesses to come together and share ideas that will contribute to the robust economies that benefit local communities. Members are also poised to foster connections and shape the future during this event, a time-honored tradition since 1936. This three-day meeting will highlight the best of West Virginia, promoting economic growth by discussing topics such as the economy, health, education, energy, and the state’s well-being.
