Free bluegrass concert to be held in Mercer County

BRAMWELL, WV (WVNS) — A free bluegrass concert will be held in part of Mercer County at the end of August 2024.

According to a press release, a bluegrass concert will be performed by Carson Peters and Iron Mountain in the Bramwell area of Mercer County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 30, 2024 .

The press release stated that the concert is free, and that bringing a folding chair is recommended.

According to the press release, in 2021, Carson Peters received a four chair turn during his blind audition on NBC’s The Voice, where he then selected Blake Shelton as his coach and continued to the knockout round.

The press release stated that Carson Peters and Iron Mountain ‘s “It’s Too Late (When You’re At The Gate)” put them at the number two spot on the Bluegrass Gospel chart.

According to the Carson Peters and Iron Mountain website, Carson Peters performed at many locations such as the Grand Ole Opry, NBC’s The Voice, and more. The website not only stated that Peters not only tours with the band, but that he also tours solo.
