25th Annual Oak Leaf Festival continues through the weekend

OAK HILL, WV (WVNS) — The 25th annual Oak Leaf Festival was going strong throughout the town of Oak Hill on Thursday, August 29, 2024.

Running from August 24th until September 1st for the 2024 season, the festival has dozens of events lined up for locals and visitors alike to enjoy.

From live performances at the Lively Amphitheater to car shows and fireworks, the festival has something for everyone to enjoy.

Saundie Smith, Director of the Festival, said she hopes the festival continues this way for a long time.

“I’m hoping it’s still going; I’m hoping it’s bigger. I’d love to still be here, but, yeah, I’m hoping it gets bigger. We try to make it bigger every year, add something new every year,” said Smith.

One of the new events they have added to the festival for the 2024 year is karaoke.
