High school football preview: Graham G-Men

TAZEWELL COUNTY, VA (WVNS) – It will be difficult for Graham to top their 2023 season, but they sure will try after making it all the way to the Final Four in the Class 2 playoffs in Virginia.

Graham finished the regular season 9-1 beating long-time rival Bluefield in Week 1 14-9, and also convincingly beating Tazewell 49-6, which was another playoff team in Class 2. From there, they beat Lee in the 1st round of the playoffs 56-14, beat Gate City 28-7 in the 2nd round and then Union in the quarterfinals 33-24 before falling to Radford in the Final Four 10-22.

Could Graham make a run even deeper into the playoffs this season? It’s certainly possible! They’ll begin their season with a tough home opener against long-time rival Bluefield, which will be an exciting game for sure on August 30th.
