    Kings of the West tour to make a stop in West Virginia in 2024

    CHARLESTON, WV (WVNS) — Kings of the West, featuring artists including Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, Too Short, E-40, and Warren G, will perform in the Mountain State at the beginning of December 2024.

    According to a press release from the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center, Kings of the West will come to the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center in the Charleston area of Kanawha County on Saturday, December 7, 2024, and feature performances from artists such as Bone Thugs -n- Harmony, Too Short, E-40, and Warren G.

    Bone Thugs-n-Harmony is a hip-hop group that was formed in Ohio in the 90’s. The group is comprised of five other artists; Bizzy Bone, Layzie Bone, Wish Bone, Krayzie Bone, and Flesh-n-Bone. The group has been nominated for multiple Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, and Soul Train Music Awards.

    E-40 is a solo rapper who was the founding member of the group, The Click, which started in the 1980’s. His first major hit came in 2006 with “ Tell Me When To Go “. While his career has spanned over three decades, and his fanbase is mainly concentrated on his native west coast, the rapper continues to be featured in songs with more nationally recognized artists.

    The press release stated that other artists, such as Mack 10, The Dogg Pound, and DJ Quik, will also perform at the concert.

    According to the Charleston Coliseum and Convention Center’s website, tickets for the show will go on sale to the general public at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, September 6, 2024

    why? hip hop notwithstanding, this is not the type of influence I'd want my children exposed to.
