PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) – Food trucks are increasing in popularity in West Virginia. WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital hosted multiple food trucks in their parking lot on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.

Food trucks can access parts of the state that normal restaurants may not be able to reach.
Some favorites tend to be Mexican food trucks and barbeque joints. The co-owner of Bratz BBQ shares his specialty with the hospital staff.

“We invested in a smoker and I learned how to become a pit-master and smoke hogs, and pulled pork and ribs,” said Co-owner, J.F Powell.

Bratz Barbeque is known for their barbeque and homemade sauce. They also sell strawberry lemonade filled with gummy bears and gummy worms.

Powell says he loves coming out to community events to serve up some smiles and some great food.
