    Power outage planned for parts of Greenbrier County

    GREENBRIER COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — A planned power outage planned for late September will affect more than 1,500 customers in Greenbrier County.

    According to the Greenbrier County Homeland Security & Emergency Management, the outage, planned for September 25, 2024, will allow for Mon Power facility upgrades. The duration of the outage will last from 8:30 AM to 2 PM.

    Power restored to more than 1,300 customers in Raleigh County

    According to the release, approximately 1,555 Mon Power customers will be affected around the areas of Buckeye, Friars Hill, Hillsboro, Mill Point, Renick, and Seebert. The Town of Hillsboro and the Riverside Campground at Watoga State Park will also be affected in the outage.
