HINTON, WV (WVNS) — Two weeks are remaining for students in West Virginia to seek scholarships from the West Virginia Nursery & Landscape Association’s (WVNLA) Marcus W. Rennix Memorial Scholarship program.

Norman H. Cole, III, a third-generation nursery owner located in Pipestem, received the award in 1988 and 1989 while enrolled at West Virginia University. He stated that the program has been beneficial to his employees as well.

As a former WVNLA scholarship recipient, it was an honor to receive the award from this organization. The money helped me then and can help you now with books and tuition, and can give you a jump start as you work towards your goals. The WVNLA wants to support the next generation of landscape and nursery professionals like you so take a minute and submit your application.
