    Car seat check to be held in Mercer County

    MERCER COUNTY, WV (WVNS) — A car seat check will be held in Mercer County in September 2024.

    According to a press release, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at the Mercer County Gardner Center, a car seat check will be held by the West Virginia Coalfields Highway Safety Program.

    Increased police presence at PikeView Middle and High School

    The West Virginia Coalfields Highway Safety Program is located at 241 Mercer Springs Road, Princeton, West Virginia.

    CU Bonner Scholars continue to impact West Virginia through dedicated service

    The car seat check is free and helps make sure that car seats are installed properly, and parents or guardians are welcome to bring the car seats to the check. However, car seats will not be given out during the event.
