Mothman Festival flies into the Mountain State

POINT PLEASANT, WV (WVNS) — The 2024 Mothman Festival makes a return to the Mountain State in 2024 with a wide variety of guest speakers and entertainment.
According to the Mothman Festival’s Facebook page, the 2024 Mothman Festival will be on Saturday, September 21, 2024 and Sunday, September 22, 2024 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
Admission for the festival is free, however there are some areas at the festival with an admission fee, such as the Mothman Museum and hayride tickets. The Mothman Festival will feature a wide variety of guest speakers, entertainment, and other activities for attendees to enjoy.
The Mothman Festival is open during the day, with many vendors opening around 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 21, 2024 and closing around 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. There are also some guest speakers and events, or food vendors, that do not close until around 8:00 p.m. On Sunday, September 22, 2024, the Mothman festival is open from 10:00 a.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m.

According to a post on the Mothman Festival’s Facebook page, the event map is subject to change without notice. There may also be other events and entertainment at the festival that are not listed.
Bringing cash is encouraged to avoid long ATM lines at the Mothman Festival, as the number of people in the area for the event often overrun the cell phone and internet towers. Long lines are also expected at the festival, and arriving early will offer better parking options, according to a post on the Mothman Festival’s Facebook page.
Mothman Hayride tickets can be found at the Info Tent beside the post office on the morning of Saturday, September 21, 2024, however they are first come/first serve/cash only, with exact change preferred.
