Structure Fire in Alderson, traffic redirected

ALDERSON, WV (WVNS) – A structure fire is ongoing on Route 12, according to Greenbrier County 911 Center. The old Alderson Broaddus campus, nicknamed ‘The Old College Building’ is the structure.

Multiple Fire departments are on scene, including Alderson Station 10, Station 90 Clinton, Station 60 Rainelle, Tri-County Fire Department and White Sulphur Fire Department among other.

Alderson EMS is also on scene as well as Alderson Police Department. No injuries are reported at this time.

Traffic is being redirected as water is being brought to fight the fire. Greenbrier County 911 Center is urging drivers to find a different route.
