Shady Spring High School seniors discuss Homecoming 2024

SHADY SPRING, WV (WVNS) — During Homecoming Week for Shady Spring High School, the student body was looking forward to a parade, but members of the Class of 2025 said on Monday, September 23, 2024, that they were also looking forward to other planned Homecoming festivities.

Vaughan York said he was looking forward to a pep rally he organized.

“They can expect a little Powder Puff game for the girls. I’m going to play a little bit of a football game, have some fun, two-hand touch, and yeah, just have a fun time with the students,” said York.

Jackson Williams, also a senior, said he was eagerly awaiting the Homecoming game, with the Shady Spring Tigers taking on the Pikeview High School Panthers.

“I’m always looking forward to the football game, just getting out there with my friends, being in the student section, supporting the school. It’s always a fun time,” Williams said.
