Rainelle Medical Center Player of the Week: Tazewell WR/DB Chase McDonald

TAZEWELL, VA (WVNS) – Let’s put a bow on Week 4 of our local high school football coverage with a look at our Rainelle Medical Center Player of the Week!

It’s back-to-back freshmen for the player of the week, as this week’s award goes to Tazewell’s Chase McDonald.

McDonald scored on offense and defense for the Bulldogs as he caught six passes for 43 yards, including a 33-yard touchdown, and also took an Interception 43 yards to the house.

Tazewell smoked Fort Chiswell 51-7 as they broke in a brand new field at Bulldog stadium.

The Bulldogs are back in action Friday, September 27, 2024, as they travel to Princeton for a two-Virginias showdown.
