Concord University holds ‘Giving Day’

ATHENS, WV (WVNS) Concord University called on former Mountain Lions for their “Giving Day.”
Giving day is designated to collecting donations for The Concord Fund.

The fund supports scholarships, campus improvements and other University related projects. Concord hopes to hit a goal of 600 donors. Financial pledges and matching gifts are currently being accepted for the 2024 Day of Giving.

“Really a great way for our alumni and our friends of Concord and the community to come together to show their support for Concord,” said Blake Farmer, the Director of Alumni and Donor Relations.

Donations are accepted from September 26th to September 27th at noon.
