Free Community Health Fair at Mercer Mall

PRINCETON, WV (WVNS) – Hernias can be unexpected and sudden. What should you look out for and what warnings signs are less common?

A Surgeon at WVU Medicine Princeton Community Hospital, said not every hernia is the same.
Luckily a free clinic is coming to Mercer Mall for a day to answer any and all questions about hernias.

Dr. Raymond Harron gives a few warning signs to look out for.

“Common signs and symptoms. For each of those you can have skin changes, redness, if something becomes purple or something like that. So skin changes is a big one,” said Dr. Harron.

The clinic will be held on October 5th from 9 A.M. until 3 P.M. Other free assessments and screenings will also be available.
